Reclaimed York stone for an impressive, characterful floor

This week we are proud to show off some images of another floor recently laid for one of our customers.

He ordered reclaimed York stone to create an aged, authentic-looking floor throughout the downstairs of his house, including in a hallway and lounge area pictured here.

Cut to just 25-30mm, this meant the York stone tiles could be laid easily without the need to accommodate much thicker, reclaimed pieces. 

Half of the project is complete, with the remainder of the reclaimed stone to be laid early next year.
